Pablo and I spent 3 days putting little things about our life here that we would want to remember. Annnd we weren't allowed to know what the other person put in ;) Then we sat down together, on different ends of the bed, and wrote down funny memories from the past year, reasons we love each other, etc onto pieces of paper to add to the jar.
We designated a part of the yard and began our dig. The plan is that in no less than 10 years we will dig it up and go through it all. I imagine most of the little details we will have forgotten in that long of a time and sifting through little mementos will just bring it all alive for us again. It was all Pablo's idea :) We decided that maybe it was a good idea to blog about it too, with pictures, so that we don't forget where it is, haha. Hey, ten years is a long time :)

And with the jar laid peacefully to rest, we sat outside and enjoyed the evening weather together. It's been unseasonably cold in Southern Texas, so when a good days comes along we take full advantage.  |

LOVE that idea! I wish Will and I thought of that and did it before we moved to NE.
