A Night in Spain!
Pablo had a huge task to do for one of his classes- take 4 courses from another country and prepare it for a dinner of 6 or more! So we invited my aunt, cousins, and sister over for a night in Spain! The appetizer avacado and tuna tapas, followed by a Spanish salad. The main course was empanadas filled ground beef, egg, vinegar and raisins, then garbanzo salad, and spanish rice. To finish off fresh-cooked churros with sugar! The Spanish salad was my absolute favorite with green olives, boiled egg, tuna, fresh romaine leaves, tomato, bell peppers, spinach and sherry vinergeriette! Pablo needed to present pictures to his teacher of his meal, so i borrowed those shots for you guys!

The Next Top Chef
Pablo has been taking alot of culinary arts classes for his minor this semester. This semester he has come home asking to make dinner and show me all of his new tricks- from sauces, fancy plating to cakes and deep-frying! Well, last week Pablo was able to be a part of the University Spanish News, the "Sabor Latino" (Latin Flavor) section! I thought he did really well, but it was even better to hear from the rest of the newscrew afterwards. They thought Pablo did great and asked if he would be willing to come back to be a regular for that segment. It is an awesome memory and i couldn't have been more proud of him for this great opportunity! I have a clip taken with my camera of the whole thing and I am hoping to post it here for you guys to see. Pablo has gotten some positive word on some cooking positions for restaurants in the area for the coming winter. We have our fingers crossed!

Its been kinda great to wrestle with my poor computer knowledge to create my first website! So with the holiday season going at full speed now, I will try to keep everyone informed on our latest adventures and memories!
