Omaha, Nebraska

We made a roadtrip to my hometown this April. It was great seeing my parents again, walking around our house and visiting familiar places.
Kobe Steakhouse

Henry Doorly Zoo

Ceasar enjoyed himself too. The grass was green and the sun warm.

Take a look at our travel arrangments!
Haha, just kidding. Ceasar spent the whole trip on my lap, or Pablo's, whoever wasn't driving. He was well-behaved and perfect; sleeping, looking out the window, etc.
I don't want this post to be too long, so i'll put some pictures up of the wedding in another post and leave you with these for now.

Hail Ceasar!

This little guy has successfully taken our hearts

There's quite the story that comes with the arrival of this little guy to our home and it includes some sneaky work by my husband, aunt and cousins:) Pablo and I had been looking around for a puppy for a while and I had my heart set on this little guy. Unfortuneatly he was a four hour drive to Utah and just above our budget, and after talking with the owner I was crestfallen. We decided to move on and take a break from looking. While I was sleeping in on a sunday morning, Pablo gave the owner a call and made arrangements to meet halfway to pick him up that next thursday. With school and work, I was away all day on thursday, non-chalantly texting my husband about little things while he, unknown to me, was picking up Ceasar in Pocatello. He let him spend the night in my Aunt's house, who took care of him for the day until we would come to pick him up on friday night.
Friday comes and I get out at 3 from school and work. Get our hair cut and talk about life over a sandwiches at Gator Jacks. He tells me we need to head out to my aunts house tonight to move some stuff out of her basement, since she is remodeling it. So we pack up and head out. My aunt is so great, she welcomes us with big hugs and leads us into the kitchen. I can't see what she is picking up until she brings him over and I see the cutest little face looking at me. I totally thought she had gotten a puppy for her and my cousins living there, until she told me his name was Ceasar. Yep, Ceasar, the name we had already given to whichever puppy we decided to get when we eventually did get one. I was suprised all right. Pablo did good. He showed me everything he had already bought for him and even had vet appiontments set up! How did I get this guy?
So now Ceasar is curled up next to me - he loves being close to people- and is watching me type. He is 3 months old now and about 4 lbs. We gave him his first bath last week and i think it tramatized him
though probably not as bad bad as when we try to brush his teeth. (Sorry, no pictures for that one!) My favorite thing about Ceasar: no barking! Practically unheard off, but Ceasar almost never ever barks. In his sleep and when he hears us coming home from the other side of the door he will give out 1 or 2, but thats about it.
So I hope you guys all get a chance to meet Ceasar sooner or later and fall in love with him like Pablo and I have.
Just more picture for y'all:
Just because this one is so funny!
