Yellowstone National Park

Senior Seminars, something that every History major was to go through- twice! A lot of reading, researching, discussing and WRITING. Each teacher chooses what they the theme of their seminar to be and there are two a semester. This summer I am taking my first one and we are studying the history and philosophy of National Parks in America and the World. So, naturally, we went to Yellowstone! It wasnt all recreational in theory (though we really had no homework on it:) but we did have a different perspective on the Park after studying the concept in our class than had we just gone. Anyway, here are some pictures of a bunch of future historians pretending to be geologists.
