14 hearts with fourteen memories
one heart to put up each morning

Three years ago, for our first Valentines day, Pablo and I were in the middle of a 4 month long-distance relationship. We opened our Valentine gifts from each other while on the phone. That year he bought me a silver necklace with two inter-twined hearts. I wanted to remind us of that first Valentine's Day. So for the 14th heart, I tried my best to draw those same hearts.
Valentine's Day this year was a simple but perfect one. Pablo fired up steak and homemade rolls while I opened up the Bachata station on Pandora. We had sparkling red grape soda, beautiful flowers from Pablo, candles, music and good conversion. It was quiet and romantic.
I hope that all of you enjoyed a happy Valentines Day with the ones you love the most!
And Pablo and I are excited to move into our new place! That's right, we're moving to a small place about 7 miles north. We'll have a garage, backyard, gas fireplace and a view of the Teton mountains. How exciting!
We will miss our first apartment together though. We've spent a year and a half in this same apartment! I'll be sure to post pictures of our new place when everythings in place and organized again. But for now, a goodbye shot of our first home:)
